THE
CONVENTION
ConVergence UK is a brand new gaming convention, to be held on the 6th to 8th March in Stockport, north-west England. Featuring RPGs, miniature and board games and taking place in the amazing North-West Gaming Centre home of Element Games.
Introducing a flexible gaming slot system for RPGs, with 4-5 hour (single play) and 7-hour (extended play) sessions. This will allow for longer scenarios and provides opportunity for a little more role-play to those who want it (and to fit the games that just are that good they demand the extra time).
Nearby accomodation, free parking, great transport links and shops, plus licensed bar and food available in the gaming hall all make this THE games con to attend in 2020

PARKING
There is free parking both at the Northwest Gaming Centre itself and for guests of the Premier Inn just across the road. There is plenty of nearby on and off street parking too.
HOW TO FIND US
BY CAR - The motorway network is generally the best way to get here. From the M60 (Manchester's outer ring road), exit at Junction 1 and join the A6 (via Travis Brow and Heaton Lane). Follow the A6 south and turn right onto Hallam Street.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT - The store is just a short walk from Davenport (~8 mins) and Stockport (~22 mins) railway stations. Trains from Manchester Piccadilly run regularly to Stockport, and roughly every hour to Davenport. And the A6 has a regular bus service with the 192 bus from Manchester city centre through to Davenport every 10-15 minutes.

Stockport is full of potential activities if you fancy a break from gaming, with a great shopping centre, public baths, museums, and cinema complex.

STAYING OVER
Stockport has many hotels, and quite a few are near to the venue. Just across the road is The Bamford Arms & Premier Inn (Premier Inn Stockport South), and the Alma Lodge is just a short walk, drive or commute by bus, to name but two.
